   Its not about winning at life in the end. Its about way you lived life and the way you succeeded into living. Your ways of choosing good decisions for not just the benefit of yourself but for others as well. Your not just competing fro your ultimate goal at life but your doing truthfully. Dean Smith ambitions weren't about winning every single game he played, he wasn't trying to build up a legacy he was just choosing to push his players to be the best they can be. And he was doing the right thing by not just thinking about himself. He was just doing the right thing by not getting mad at his players for losing, and not cheating in any games. He saw every player by who they were. He wasn't judgmental and he encouraged every one of them to be the best person, not player but person they can be. He taught him the values of life. Which is why he is so respected.
