My first two weeks of high school at HPIAM have been really great. I like most of my classes and the teachers are really nice. I was really nervous on the first day on school being a freshman and all but i surprisingly found all my classes and got there in time since its a small school.

        Optician

Duties and responsibilities:

Opticians work of from the prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists to assign and advise patients on various types of lenses. They also advice patients what style and color to get including on how to treat and care for their lenses.

Salary: $21,290 - $54,490

Education:

Most opticians work of from a high school diploma and learn their skills on the job. Some states require opticians to be licensed. Licenses usually requires completing formal education through an approved program or completing an apprenticeship.

 

Reflection:

No I don’t think I would like to be an optician because it doesn’t sound really exciting and I would like a job or career that would pay more. But the one thing that did interest me is that you can get this job with just a high school diploma.
