Marine Biologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
A marine biologist is basically someone who works in some way
in studying, observing, protecting, or managing marine wildlife. They pretty much spend their time collecting
data of plant and animal species which is then taken to a lab to advance the
understanding of species and their environments.
Salary:
A marine
biologist can earn an average of $51,616 per year but keep in mind that it
depends on geographic location, job type, experience and education so others
tend to earn more. The highest someone
can earn is about $103,000.
Education:
Marine biologist need at least a bachelor’s degree in marine
biology and can continue to receive a master’s and doctoral degree.
I would totally like to be one because your working and an ocean
environment filled with amazing cool creatures and other variety species of
plants and gathering information on how everything works together in the
ocean. But the only downside is that it doesn’t pay much but other than that it’s
a pretty cool job to have.
