Veterans Day
Veterans Day is the one year anniversary of the
end of World War 1. It takes place on November 11. The purpose of this day is
to honor and pay tribute to all American veterans living or dead and to also
give thanks to the living who served their country honorably during war. It is
important to pay respect because you’re honoring people who go and risk their
lives and take time to be away from their family to go serve for the well-being
of this country. To show honor and respect on Veterans Day you can…
· First
of all give thanks
· Respect
Veterans service, their feelings, and any suggestions they might offer
· Show
appreciation for the family of Veterans
Be supportive and non-judgmental and always
validate their feelings and concerns
I’m really thankful to be able to live in a
country where I have the freedom to do anything I want and have the opportunity
to become the successful person I want to be. This is what the veterans fought
to do. They risked their lives knowing they might not come back again to their
families. They wanted to create a new start for the U.S. They fought for what
we are today. A society where we can offer others to do good in their life and
become successful. That’s why we need to pay respect for those who cared enough
to fight for what we deserve and give back what they gave us our independence.
