X-Ray Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical x-ray technicians create x-ray images of parts of the human body using radiographic equipment, to assist in the diagnosis of medical problems.

Salary:

The median salary is $55,870 annually

Education:

Complete a postsecondary program with a bachelor's or associate's degree (being the most common among x-ray technicians) get certifies by passing state test, then obtain license.

Demand for this Profession:

Complete training program with completed coursework of anatomy, medical terminology, patient positioning, radiation protection, infection control and radiation pathology.

Reflection:

I don’t think I would like to be one because I don’t think i would be careful with dealing with such equipment

You can never truly be independent and free unless you make the right choices in life. If you make poor choices that will land you in jail then there’s really no freedom in that. Not only that but you want to be free spiritually. Not have any worries in life. Not having to worry for being committed for a crime or something. You just want to be clear of everything without out anything having to hold you down. Like an chain for example. All your bad choices and actions is what keeping you down for you to be truly independent. But If you commit to a life of goodness then you don’t have to worry about that chain. You break loose from it.

The only greatness in the world are the people who do good. They matter because they know their way from right to wrong. Goodness is the essence of true greatness. You want others to remember you as a person of honesty and integrity. You want to leave a good name for yourself so people can remember you as a good person who lived a great life. Not like someone who is a liar or cheater who probably didn't do much in life.  

 Radiation Therapist~

Duties and Responsibilities:

A radiation therapist uses beams of radiated light to locate and treat cancerous tumors according to the plan prescribed by radiologist and oncologist. They are also responsible for the safety of their patients for observing and documenting any reaction to treatment.

Salary:

The annual median pay is about $80,090

Education:

First step to becoming a radiation therapist is by earning prerequisites like showing proof that they completed high school. Complete training by earning a bachelor's degree and joining a program. Then they need to pass the state license exam to get certified.   

Demand for this profession:

To pass the state license exam to be certified if not they can apply for the job.

Reflection:

I probably might like to be one because it sounds interesting to deal with helping patients with cancer.

It may seem appealing to you in the beginning but in the end it’s never worth it. Like they say your actions have consequences whether is a negative or positive outcome, there will always be a consequence. You should never cheat your way because the guilt will always be eating you alive inside. It’s never the same when you cheat because your just cheating yourself. Everything you cheated for doesn’t and will never count. It’s just never worth the risk for your name. Everything you did will be turned against you. Thus leaving you with the name of a cheater.

   Psychologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

A psychologist is someone who has at least an undergraduate degree in psychology. They can work in a variety of settings with individual patients, businesses, hospitals, clinics, schools, prisons, communities, the government, the military, and many others.

Salary:

The median salary for a psychologist if about $70,650 per year.

Education:

In order to start psychology career, individuals will typically need to earn a Bachelor’s in psychology or clinical psychology. Additional schooling is also necessary after the four year degree. This typically includes earning a Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

Demand for this profession:

To earn a Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology

Reflection:

I Still don’t think I would like to be one because it’s just not exciting enough and to be listening to other people problems I’d probably get stressed out.

 April Fools Day:

April fools day is one of the most light hearted days of the year. It is basically a joke day where anybody can pull a little trick or prank on someone else. And it is always held on the first day of April. No one really knows for sure the origins to April Fools Day but there are some theories. One theory that some people believe was because ancient cultures like romans celebrated new year's day on or around April 1st and in medieval times the majority of Europe celebrated on march 25 so it was the same time around. But them in 1582 Pope Gregory XIII ordered a new calendar to replace the old one and so new years was shifted to January 1st. According to a popular explanation many people either refused to accept the new date or did not learn about it and kept celebrating new year’s day on April 1st. Other people began to make fun of these traditionalist, sending them on a fool’s errand or trying to trick them into believing something false. Eventually the practice spread throughout Europe. There are a lot of other theories but this is just one of them. The pros of this day is having a good laugh but the con is someone can get carried away.
