Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical x-ray technicians create x-ray images of parts of the human body using radiographic equipment, to assist in the diagnosis of medical problems.
Salary:
The median salary is $55,870 annually
Education:
Complete a postsecondary program with a bachelor's or associate's degree (being the most common among x-ray technicians) get certifies by passing state test, then obtain license.
Demand for this Profession:
Complete training program with completed coursework of anatomy, medical terminology, patient positioning, radiation protection, infection control and radiation pathology.
Reflection:
I don’t think I would like to be one because I don’t think i would be careful with dealing with such equipment
