Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical scientists help develop new medical breakthroughs that benefit humanity. This process involves a great deal of research and performing clinical trials to find out the effects of new drugs and vaccines. Many medical scientists enter into joint M.D. and Ph.D. programs, and those interacting directly with patients need a physician's license.

Salary:
They get paid $76,980 annually

Education:
They acquire an undergraduate education by attaining a bachelor's degree in biology or in a medical health related major. Then it takes up to 1 to seven years of medical schooling at the graduate level.

Demand for this profession:
Those who administer drugs, gene therapy, or other wise practice medicine on patients in clinical trials, or a private practice, need a license to practice as a physician.


Reflection:
I don’t think I would like to be one because to practice makng new medicine sounds so difficult and I don’t think I would like to risk on messing up.
