Ambulance Dispatcher
Duties and
Responsibilities:
An ambulance
dispatcher operates on radio, telephone, or computer equipment at emergency
response centers. They receive distress calls from public people when needed
help. Their job is to alert the ambulance so they can help the person in urgent
medical need when they call for help.
Education:
They at least need to
have a high school diploma. Programs and courses are offered through community and
technical colleges, state agencies, professional organizations and approved
training facilities.
In my opinion I wouldn’t
want to be one because I’d rather be the one in the ambulance going to help a
person than to sit in a chair and look at a computer screen for hours.
